「Wow! Amazing! It’s really bearing chocolate! 」

A few days later, I picked a chocolate fruit from the end of a branch of the Ent that had grown before me and popped it into my mouth.

Then, the unique sweetness and slight bitterness of chocolate spread in my mouth, creating an indescribably delicious taste.

「Ahhh! It’s seriously amazing! An Ent that bears chocolate! It’s a Chocolent! 」

「Ho, Ho, Ho, I’m happy to hear you say that, Lord Kyou, who gave birth to me. As for chocolate, as you can see, I can make it bear fruit anytime, just like the fruit on a tree, so if you want some, Lord Kyou, just tell me and I’ll replenish it. 」

As I praised the Ent in front of me, it seemed pleased, as the face carved into its stem smiled gently, and I could see the chocolates on the branch blooming one after another, just like the fruit on a tree.

They were about the size of a large Apollo chocolate*.

They were the perfect size to pick up in one pinch, fitting comfortably in the mouth, and easy to harvest.

The taste was like classic chocolate; you could enjoy them as they were or process them to create new chocolates…they seemed versatile.

In any case, this eliminated the need to go all the way to town to buy chocolate, making snack harvesting much easier.

The expected sight unfolded before me looking at the neighboring Ent.

「This one’s amazing too. Cabbage and eggplant growing simultaneously from the branch tips…that’s quite a rare sight! 」

There, the cabbage, eggplant, and pepper seeds I planted alongside the Ent tree the other day had successfully combined with the Ent, resulting in various vegetables growing from its branches.

Normally, only one type of vegetable would grow.

However, by using the Ent as a medium to synthesize various vegetable seeds, this Ent had grown into another wonderful food-producing monster, capable of bearing multiple vegetables simultaneously.

「May I try one of these? 」

「Ho, Ho, Ho, what are you saying, Lord Kyou? Don’t limit yourself to just one, harvest as many as you like. 」

In response to my question, the Ent shook the branches of cabbage, eggplant, and bell peppers that were growing on its tips down in front of me.

I took a bite of one of them, a raw cabbage, and was surprised by how juicy and fresh it was.

Perhaps it was because it was grown with the life force of a monster, but it tasted perfectly fine even raw.

Moreover, just like the Chocolate Ent from earlier, when the Ent concentrated its energy on the tip of its branch, cabbage, eggplant, and other vegetables grew from there like fruits.

It was the scene I had imagined, but in a way, the result exceeded my expectations.

I had hoped that at least one vegetable would grow, but I never imagined it would be able to produce multiple vegetables at once.

Perhaps my monster cultivation skills were improving, but in any case, I was satisfied with the results of my new monster cultivation and offered words of gratitude and appreciation to the Ents before me.

「What are you doing? 」

Just then, Luna appeared with Rock.

Saying that, I showed her the vegetables and chocolate I was holding and handed her the chocolate.

Despite her suspicious gaze, the moment she put it in her mouth, I saw her face light up.

「…Delicious… 」

She murmured, carefully eating the remaining chocolate.

Seeing this, Rock also begged, “I want some too!”, so I gave her a few pieces of chocolate as well.

「Wow. Did you make this? 」

Luna asked with curious eyes while having chocolate stains on her mouth.

「No, rather than me, this Chocolent made it grow. From now on, we can get chocolate from it regularly, so you can ask for it anytime you want. 」

「Ho, Ho, Ho, that’s how it is. Thanks. 」

The Chocolent smiled gently.

Luna looked extremely surprised.

「This is…a monster, right? Can you cultivate monsters? 」

「Yeah, didn’t I tell you? 」

Luna’s face looked even more surprised by my answer.

「No, I didn’t know…I never imagined…that humans could cultivate monsters at will… And I’ve never seen a monster like this before…? 」

I realized I hadn’t explained that to Luna.

Luna looked genuinely surprised as I explained.

Luna muttered, seemingly clutching her head.

「Luna? 」

I rushed over to her as she suddenly began muttering like a spell, and Rock, who was at her feet, also pulled her clothes worriedly.

And so, pulling on Luna’s still bewildered hand, Rock and I began to show her around town.
