We returned to the castle after touring the city and checking out the bronze statue of King Tarmine that had been built. Princess Tiana wanted to show us more of the city, but after seeing Artema Menace, everyone’s mood became somewhat gloomy.

Princess Tiana stopped in the castle’s courtyard and spoke to me with a serious expression.

I hung my head. Princess Tiana continued to make strange remarks while hitting the straw doll. Colt and the others gave bitter smiles, and Seiya ignored her and looked towards another direction.

Suddenly, John Dae called out to me with a serious look on his face.

「Please be lenient. The princess will only be in Tarmine for a short time. 」

「What do you mean? 」

「Queen Carmilla mentioned an alliance with Galvano…and as a compromise, both nations will manage the Resurrected Artema together. And on top of that, there’s one more thing…」

「One more thing? 」

When I asked, John Dae looked at Princess Tiana, who was practicing her silly skills, with a pained look on his face, and explained.

「We’re offering Princess Tiana to Duke Leon. 」
