Chapter 178: Training (1)

Polun returned while jumping on the fluffy floor. Polun held an orange balloon on her stuffed animal-like hand. Polun handed that one to Seiya.

「This balloon has my aura inside it chichi. 」

Then, Polun looked at me and smiled kindly.

「The other balloon is for the goddess chichi. 」

「For…For me? Am I going to use your skill too? 」

「I apologize, but I can only give my aura to one person! This is an apology balloon chichi! 」

I looked at Polun while receiving the cute bear-shaped balloon. There was no glimpse of the dangerous feeling I had before.

I thanked Polun and took the balloon. Seiya’s balloon suddenly burst next to me with a loud roar. The orange aura inside the balloon fell on top of Seiya. Eventually, the aura disappeared as it got absorbed by Seiya’s body.

Seiya moved his hands several times over. It seemed that he was making sure that Polun’s aura got into his body. Then, he suddenly looked at me.

「Okay. Let’s go, Lista. 」

「Eh? 」

「I’ve got the aura. Now I will master the skill on my own. 」

「I…I see. 」

Seiya started walking away quickly. I followed Seiya’s steps in a hurry since I didn’t want to be left behind.

When Seiya opened the picturesque door…

「See you later chichi! 」

I heard Polun’s voice and turned around. When I tried to wave goodbye.

「Hihihihihi! 」

I was taken aback as Polun’s face became distorted into something sinister again. Without saying a word, Seiya closed the door of Polun’s house and started walking without looking back.

When we returned to Uno’s mansion, Seiya, as he had told me, locked himself in his room in order to hone the skills he had acquired from Polun.

I sat alone on the sofa in the living room without seeing anyone else. While staring at the cute balloon that Polun gave me, I thought back to what had happened just moments ago.

Not only Polun, but I also felt that Seiya was acting a little strange. If it were the normal Seiya, wouldn’t he stay at the Balloon House to further develop his skills? Seiya explained that he would stay in the Underworld for three days, so there should be plenty of time even if we excluded the time for his motorcycle synthesis. However, Seiya seemed like he wanted to leave that place as soon as possible.

And he sighed. Celseus also looked tired for some reason as he was lowering his shoulders.

「Well…I was cooking dinner with Miss Uno. But something seemed off. 」

「She probably ended up coughing blood. That’s Uno and Due’s habit, so you’ll need to get used to it. 」

Celseus spoke in a serious tone, but I didn’t take it seriously. The other people in the Underworld wouldn’t know about this, but Uno and Due were the only siblings in the Underworld who had common sense and whom I could rely on.

「Celseus. Eat first. 」

Seiya watched Celseus eat the food for a while. Afterwards, he took the meat and potatoes onto his plate and took a sniff before finally touching them.

…He was behaving just like when he first came to the Underworld.

「It…It’s true that the ingredients are easily spoiled during this time of year! But it’s okay to eat them as they’re fine! 」

「That’s right, Mister Seiya! We cooked them properly! 」

Celseus said the same thing. After Seiya finished eating his meat and potatoes in silence, he got up and declared, 「I’m going to work on the motorcycle synthesis. 」.
